Establish Tech-Free Zones and Times

Screens are part of life, but they don’t have to be part of every moment. Set clear rules for areas or times when everyone puts the devices away. For example, make the dining room or kitchen a tech-free zone.

During meals, everyone should focus on talking and connecting. You could also make an hour before bed a no-screen time to help wind down and have real conversations. These small boundaries help bring people back to each other.

Engage in Family Activities

Spending time together is key. Plan regular activities that the whole family can enjoy. This could be a weekly movie night, cooking a meal together, hiking on weekends, or even a fun board game night.
